Mr. Alok Bansal has been leading Build My Infra since 2018. Starting as an electronic engineer he went on to become a prominent part of established Multinational corporations such as Infosys and Mercedes Benz. From warehousing & distribution, buildings, setting up and running multi-tier fulfillment centers, warehouses, E-commerce, and medical infrastructure as he aims to make BMI one of its kind in the industry.

Amongst many other things, he is also passionate about advertisement and marketing. He was awarded the "Youngest Supply Chain leader of the Year" award for 2018 in a Summit organized by Nasscom & Alden. He earned his degree from UPTU and an MBA from SPJAIN & ESB, Germany. Currently resides in Gurgaon, India.

Mr. Aalok Bansal has always believed in helping all those he can. He has firm faith in social service and is a devout social worker. He has worked for the alleviation of poverty, education, and development of his locality. Mr. Bansal has strong faith in hard work. DEBJIT SINGH

Associate Professor In Operations Management

Debjit Roy is an associate professor in operations management at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. He holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering(with a major in Decision Sciences/Operations Research and a minor in Computer Science) and an M.S. in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison besides an M.Sc. (Engineering) from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India.

He is also a Visiting Professor at the Stephen Ross School of Business, University of Michigan, and Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, where he is associated with the SmartPort and Material Handling Forum initiative.

His research focuses on estimating the performance of Logistical and Service Systems such as Container Terminals, Automated Distribution Centres, Trucking, Vehicle Rental, and Restaurant Systems using stochastic models and optimization.

Ideology

He has received several research awards including the IIE Transactions Best Conference Paper Award in Facility Logistics (2011, 2019), and honorable mention designation for the Jack Meredith Best Paper Award in the Journal of Operations Management (2019) and IIE Transactions Best Applications Paper Award Competition (2016).

He has published in several leading operations research and operations management journals such as Operations Research, Transportation Science, Journal of Operations Management, EJOR, IISE Transactions, and Interfaces. He has co-authored the first book on Trucking Business Management published by McGraw Hill.
